Although we know that updating a topic on Discuss automatically moves it to the top (below pinned posts), we will always inform the Community about any changes made. This will ensure transparent tracking and facilitate the visibility of all modifications.

Update Notice for the Places Topic
A standardization has been created for editing the School/College and Preschool/Daycare Categories, which will help with the way these types of Places are edited or created.
Just a reminder, we don’t need to rush to edit all places, but when you come across a place in this category, please make the adjustment.

Traffic Lights Topic

Updates made on May 12, 2026:
- We have updated the Map problems topic in Wazeopedia Brazil. The page has undergone a complete content review, including:
- image updates;
- review and update of descriptions;
- reorganization of the problem types currently existing in WME;
- improvements in clarity for editors of all levels.
- Additionally, a new topic was created: Map problems related to Partner Feeds
The content covers MPs generated from closure requests sent by Waze for Cities program partners, including cases of data inconsistency that prevent the automatic application of closures on the map.
Updates made on 28/05/2026:
Changed the method for editing speeds in U-turns, Roundabouts, Private Roads, and Parking Lots, simplifying the editing process;
U-turns and Roundabouts
- If it has a speed limit sign, use it;
- If it doesn’t, leave the segment without a speed limit.
Private Roads and Parking Lots
Speed limits indicated on private properties using regulatory signs may be added to segments, but in their absence, leave them blank, following the same pattern as U-turns and Roundabouts.
Personal Suggestion: You don’t need to go crazy changing existing segments mentioned in the Speed Limits topic, take it easy. lol
The Keyboard Shortcuts topic was also adjusted to clean up the code and prepare for the new ones that will be coming soon.
