Receiving an error in this scenario is an expected outcome.
WME simply sees Edit 2 as an invalid, competing change to Edit1. It doesn’t re-aggregate both edits into a single, valid outcome. In case you accept Edit1 → second one will be outdated and vice versa.

As you may have already viewed, the issue was solved by editing further via the reviewer account.
