Hello @tazis1980 and welcome to map editing!

It looks like the new neighborhood in that area is ready to be mapped. I’m seeing new streets 700 N, 7675 E, and 875 N and at least three new houses built on the Weber County and State and Utah GIS systems (see https://parcels.utah.gov). Would you like to contribute directly and map these yourself? Or are you asking for someone else to do it?

You should be able to map this neighborhood yourself in the Waze Map Editor (WME), turning on the GPS Points layer as a guide since the imagery in WME is out of date here, but Waze traffic shows up using the new roads. There are no locked roads that need to be unlocked, so you should be able to do this yourself. Other local editors or I would be happy to help guide you through the process if you like, and will review the changes to make sure it’s going to work. Check out the handy how-to instructions and videos on the Wazeopedia to learn how to map new streets and add house numbers: https://www.waze.com/wiki/CommunityHub/WME_How-To_Guides

If you live nearby in Ogden Valley you could also “Pave” the streets using the app. Drive to the neighborhood, open the app (phone only, no Android Auto or CarPlay), tap the orange Report button, then Map issue, then Pave. Start “Paving” by driving up and down the new streets that are missing and Waze will build new road segments based on your GPS location and direction of travel. When finished, pull over, tap Stop on the Paving dialog, and finish your drive as normal. The app will send your paves to the servers at the end of your drive, assuming you have data service, and they may show up in WME as soon as a few minutes after you close the app (sometimes a few hours or days laters). When they appear, you can tie the new segments to each other and the road network, give them street names (“Address” in WME), and make sure 2-way segment directionality and turns into other segments are enabled. Again, we can help reviewing or finishing your edits.

Hope to see you on the map and on Discord!

I didn’t hear anything back, so I went ahead and added the streets to the map. They should show up within a day or two.
