Waze navigates drivers through a private gated community in Cedar Park to get to a destination that is outside of the gates. This results in drivers being stuck at the gates not able to get to their destination, and have to turn around. It sometimes results in angry drivers who vandalize the gates to get through them.
Please update Waze to reflect that the 600 - 700 blocks of Glacial Stream Lane (and all roads connected to it) in Cedar Park are private property and gated. Drivers trying to get to a house within the community should be directed to the Arrow Point entrance. Drivers trying to get to a destination outside the community should be directed to 1431 and Vista Ridge.
Looking at how we currently have this area setup, drivers using Waze to navigate to Floresta Dr, Girassol Cove, Colina Cove, Campino Dr, and 604 Glacial Stream Ln through 716 Glacial Stream Ln should routed in and out on Arrow Point Dr. https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor/?env=usa&lon=-97.79622&lat=30.52450&zoom=6
I just tested in my app an it worked correctly.
I did find that navigating to 602 Glacial Stream Ln did not route you through Arrow Point Dr. I have made adjustments to the map for that and it should be corrected in the next couple days.
I am not sure if other apps (Google Maps, Apple Maps) routes correctly or not, but Waze does appear to work.
