I lost my account a few months ago after my Google services got hacked. I was too frustrated at the time to start again so I left Waze for a while. Does anyone know of a way to to attribute past edits to my new account perhaps? If not then I I’ll just have to start again

Hi, we wondered where you went. My only advice is to contact Waze support, as they may be able to retrieve and reset access to your old account or potentially merge your new account.

Same issue for me, I was registered (with email and password) to Waze starting from about ten years ago, I edited several roads and places in my country and I was a level 2-3 editor (I cant remember the exact level).
Than, I stopped using Waze during pandemic time after a smartphone change (it was useless for me and I forgot to reinstall) for at least a couple of years.
Now with my new car that has Android Auto I thought that would be greate to navigate with waze in car screen, so I reinstalled and log in again using “Login with Google” (info: it is the same email address of “old” account) but I started as a new user with level 1, zero edit, etc… every single correction to many changed roads around my hose is limited and take a long time 
PS. previous username was “cesarinik” that now I cant use because it seems like already taken… but If I login with Google my email I got a new account!
Any chance to merge to old account?
Your current username shows some edits in Italy and so it may help if you contact the team there. However, the old username you mentioned shows no edits or any usage and so there would be no point in trying to merge the accounts. As Waze does not remove any information about the history of edits done, I can only assume you either have the wrong old username, or you have never edited using this username.
